How do I update the Zact software on my device?

Before you begin the process of updating your Zact software, you should first enable Wi-Fi to ensure a quick and seamless update. You may follow the instructions below to enable this feature on your device:

 

  • Confirm your battery is at least 50% charged
  • From the home screen, tap the "Settings" icon
  • Tap "Wireless & networks" on the following menu
  • Tap the box located to the right of "Wi-Fi"

Once you have enabled Wi-Fi on your device, follow the instructions below to complete the update of your Zact software:

  • From the home screen, tap the Zact_icon.jpg icon
  • Tap the "?" icon located just below the time on your device
  • Tap "Check for Update" from the following menu
  • Tap "Install Now" to install software updates

    The update worked but I am still unable to modify the data plan back down to zero. Help!
